2022 Okapi Chardonnay

For this elegantly styled chardonnay, we gently press the whole grape clusters directly to French oak barrels, fermenting at cool temperatures with minimal intervention to create a balanced fruit-forward wine that pairs beautifully with food, but is equally rewarding on its own.

This gem is exquisitely layered and decadent, even in its youth, with lively aromas of nectarine, crisp green apples, dried apricots, hints of fresh ground cinnamon, apple turnover and cold peaches. On the palate, you'll find it is delectably creamy and rich with fresh apples, vanilla bean, juicy summer pears, crisp and smooth on the long finish, with Meyer lemon, powdered sugar, and butterscotch.
