Okapi Proprietor's Blend "Alkimmy"

Brilliant ruby in color, Alkimmy delights the senses with an interplay of aromas of fresh cherry preserves, melted chocolate, red pears and rose, with sweet spice and hints of coffee, tobacco and cedar. Flavors are playful, broad and creamy, reminiscent of juicy plums, ripe peaches and homemade oatmeal cookies. Full-bodied and elegant on the palate, with elegant and velvety tannins, its vibrant acidity brings balance and freshness and support a long and lively finish.

This highly finessed blend draws from Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Merlot and old vine Zinfandel. Low intervention winemaking, native yeast fermentations and single vineyard sources combine to create an ultra rich, fruit forward wine with a playful soul.
